Rory Sutherland joined Ogilvy as a Graduate Trainee in 1988 which has worked out quite well and by 2005 he was appointed Vice Chairman of Ogilvy UK. He was an early adopter of the Internet and became the first Briton to have his credit card details stolen online (losing £22.45). Outside Ogilvy, Rory is a visiting professor of Warwick University and the Technology Correspondent of the Spectator. He lives in the former home of Napoleon III in in Kent.
